Spindles

Freehand machine embroidery on digitally printed cotton.
Spindles is an original textile piece created my moving the fabric under the sewing machine needle to create a drawing in thread.
The image is inspired by a traditional Georgian balcony on display in Maister House in Hull.
The piece is stretched onto a handmade wooden frame.
